St. John’s is hosting Wednesday Night Community Nights every Wednesday during the summer.  (There might be a break for July 4th week and/or fair week).

 

Each evening we invite our church members and community members to join us for Bible activities for all ages, for a meal, and for some fun time together.  On some evenings we will also end the evening with a campfire and songs outside starting around 8:30 PM.

 

There is no requirement that you need to attend all of the events.  It is set up to allow people to join us for whichever of the evening’s events you are interested in.  Just want to come for the meal, that’s fine.  We’re happy to have you.  Think the campfire sounds intriguing? Stop on by.

 

Some ideas for the community fun and fellowship time include, bingo, game night, or trivia games.

 

St. John’s will also host free music lessons throughout the summer.  We have a college student helping us out who is able to teach organ, piano, and voice lessons.  She can also oversee students who have already learned to play other instruments continue to practice.  These lessons are available on Mondays and Wednesdays at St. John’s and on Tuesdays at Peace.

 

We also plan to put on a skit or a play after a week or so of practice.  This fine arts/theater camp will begin following the fair week, in mid to late July.  We hope that we can have a recital day on August 10th to share the music we have been practicing, the crafts we’ve made, the songs we’ve learned, and the skit or play we have practiced.
